global commodities and gold

Russian stock markets stayed mostly unchanged over the weekend while gold prices went up. Because it is very difficult and risky for regular investors to buy these specific foreign stocks, experts suggest looking at global commodity funds instead.

What changed

The Russian MOEX index finished a flat trading session with minor drops in select blue-chip stocks alongside a rise in gold futures.

Who wins / who loses

Gold miners and commodities gain on safe-haven flows, while local Russian equities face cautious, range-bound sentiment.
